Donavon Sawyer takes a proactive and detailed approach to his client’s cases. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, products liability, trucking /transportation, and habitability matters. Donavon’s career has afforded him the opportunity to work on numerous high-value personal injury cases including burns, spinal cord, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Donavon’s approach is to make sure that his clients’ interests are protected while working to develop the evidence and themes needed to succeed at trial. This approach allows him to maximize the chances for settlement by developing an effective trial strategy.
Before joining the Milanfar Law Firm, Donavon practiced at other firms representing clients with a focus on personal injury, trucking accidents, premises liability, and product liability matters.
Donavon received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in 2010. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Donavon placed first in the 2012 William H. Sutton Barrister’s Union Trial Competition, and he was the recipient of the 2014 Bogle-Sharp “Most Likely to Succeed in the Practice of Law” Award. Donavon also clerked in the Civil and Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Arkansas. He is admitted to the State Bar of California as well as the bar of the United States District Court of the Central District of California.
When not working hard for his clients, Donavon enjoys exercising, traveling, and hiking with his Rottweiler son, Zeus.
